Oh, hello there! You may be here longer than expected… It's ok, we won't judge.

Here we’ll be looking at all sorts of warm, fuzzy, homely things… And staying alive. Welcome to hygge & survival.

I love the concept of hygge, partly because I’m a Scandophile… Francis isn’t as fussed and thinks we should just call this section ‘home comforts’ or something… Either way you get the idea, and I’m the one setting up so I get to choose 😉

It’s not all about the warm fuzzies though – unfortunately, those are so great because you have to battle for them! You can think of this section as including meaning-of-life-type things too, so a bit of philosophical nonsense.

We believe in others’ believing what they believe… If you pin things back to belief in consciousness, matrix-style, nothing is provable or disprovable. All that to say open minds are welcome, and we’re sharing our thoughts here because we’re meeting a load of people who’ve had very different lives to ourselves, which have resulted in different beliefs.

It’s important for our view of self-development to attempt to respect everyone, regardless of political view, religion, et cetera et cetera. The only proviso here is that it should be mutual!

We don’t consciously force our fundamental beliefs on anyone else, but will be discussing some of those here because they’re, well, our fundamental beliefs. If you don’t have the same ones as us… At least we’ll have something to learn from each other!

Got that? Good, that makes one of us.
